Volleyball Recap: Schuylkill Haven Takes a Loss

If Schuylkill Haven was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Weatherly last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hurricanes took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nativity BVM Green Wave on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Schuylkill Haven has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Nativity BVM, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Schuylkill Haven has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Marian Catholic on the 2nd. As for Nativity BVM, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Minersville on the 2nd.
