After soaring to ten runs the game before, Thoreau was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Tohatchi Cougars. The Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Thoreau saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Shirley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Thoreau's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Tohatchi, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cougars beat Thoreau by a score of 8-0 later that day.
