Seminole is 10-0 against Pecos since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Seminole Indians will be playing at home against the Pecos Eagles at 6:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Seminole has four straight victories, Pecos has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Seminole is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Monahans 94-16 on Tuesday. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pecos ended up a good deal behind Greenwood on Tuesday and lost 60-42. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1076th, while the Rangers are ranked 277th).

Seminole has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Pecos, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Everything came up roses for Seminole against Pecos in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 108-5 win. Will Seminole repeat their success, or does Pecos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
