Volleyball Game Preview: Texico Wolverines vs. Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers

The Texico Wolverines will take on the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Texico comes in on three and Mesilla Valley Christian School on ten.

Texico is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They put the hurt on Oak Grove Classical Academy with a sharp 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Mesilla Valley Christian School made easy work of Rehoboth Christian on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Texico's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Mesilla Valley Christian School, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4.

Texico beat Mesilla Valley Christian School 3-1 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
