Soccer Recap: Westmoreland Comes Up Short

Westmoreland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the West Point Pointers, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Westmoreland's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Westmoreland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Point, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westmoreland will welcome James Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Point, they will challenge Mathews at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
