Volleyball Recap: Luther Prep's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Luther Prep entered their tilt with Shoreland Lutheran on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pacers. The Phoenix have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pacers, too.

Luther Prep not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Shoreland Lutheran between 20 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20.

Elizabeth Kieselhorst had an outrageously good game as she had 17 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 12 matchups.

Luther Prep's record is now 27-3. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-25 record this season.

Coincidentally, Luther Prep and Shoreland Lutheran will both be playing Kenosha Christian Life the next time they take the court. The Pacers will head out to face the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Phoenix will head out to face them on Friday.
