High Point Christian Academy has gone 9-1 against Caldwell Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The High Point Christian Academy Cougars will square off against the Caldwell Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. High Point Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Tuesday, High Point Christian Academy was beaten by Greensboro Day School 70-38. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 380th, while the Bengals are ranked 37th).

Meanwhile, Caldwell Academy made easy work of Triad Baptist Christian Academy on Thursday and carried off a 61-39 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

High Point Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Caldwell Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

High Point Christian Academy came up short against Caldwell Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 39-34. Can High Point Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
