If Brookfield wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Garfield, they should've done a better job of containing Lily Shay. The G-Men were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors on Thursday for which the team can thank Shay, who had 29 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-3.

Garfield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Brookfield, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Coming up, Garfield will face off against LaBrae at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookfield, they will take on Springfield at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
