Softball Recap: Second Baptist Comes Up Short

Second Baptist was the 11-8 winner over The Woodlands Christian Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 9-8 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Second Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Second Baptist will challenge Kinkaid at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Hitchcock at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
