Basketball Recap: Lee Central Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Lee Central extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Serenity Williams. The Lee Central Stallions claimed a resounding 60-28 victory over the Lamar Silver Foxes thanks in part to Williams, who went 8 of 20 en route to 20 points and seven steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

MyKeriyah Holmes was another key player, putting up five points and four blocks. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in blocks.

Lee Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Lamar, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coincidentally, Lee Central and Lamar will both be playing McBee the next time they take the court. Lee Central will head out to face McBee at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Lamar will host them at 6:15 p.m. on January 24th.
