Volleyball Recap: Cosumnes Oaks Takes a Loss

Cosumnes Oaks saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Central Catholic Raiders by a score of 2-1. The Wolfpack have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jordyn Jackson paced Cosumnes Oaks' offense, picking up ten kills. Jackson got some help from Samantha Guingab and her 17 assists. Amiyah Sullivan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cosumnes Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Central Catholic, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Cosumnes Oaks has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Mariposa County on the 11th. As for Central Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Downey on the 11th.
