King Soloman Hamilton Puts an End to Franklin's Losing Streak on Thursday

Franklin's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to King Soloman Hamilton. On Thursday Soloman Hamilton threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Franklin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Soloman Hamilton and Franklin will square off against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cleveland was sadly handed a loss on Thursday, but Sam Ribner did his best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Ribner was still balling out as he rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 190 yards and two touchdowns.

Cash Landau Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Thursday, Franklin got the W thanks in part to Cash Landau playing the best football he has all season. Landau picked up 108 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Cleveland had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Landau it was a similar story. Landau picked up 206 receiving yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Warriors duked it out back in September of 2023.

Sayre Made His Presence Known in Franklin's 47-28 Win

Franklin's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jay Sayre. Sayre was dynamite on Thursday, rushing for 119 yards on only 15 carries.

On the year, Sayre has averaged 92.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 30.83 rushing yards per game.
