Recap: Calvary Baptist Knights vs. Frederick Baptist Academy Patriots
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 57-26, which was the final score in Calvary Baptist's tilt against Frederick Baptist Academy on Tuesday. Calvary Baptist has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Frederick Baptist Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was John Strine out in front who scored 18 points along with six steals. Strine is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Ben Hardt, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Calvary Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Frederick Baptist Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Baptist's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Martinsburg Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 12th. Frederick Baptist Academy will take on Lighthouse Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
