            Volleyball Recap: Lewis County Panthers vs. Loretto Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            If Lewis County was riding high  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Hampshire last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell  3-1 to the Loretto Mustangs on Tuesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won  3-2.
 Lewis County couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Loretto a tough time in the third set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 31-33,  25-17.
 Loretto was led to victory by  Breleigh Winters and  Taylor Laws.  Winters  had 22  digs and four  aces, while  Laws  had 20  digs. Those  20  digs gave  Laws a new career-high.
Lewis County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Loretto, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-23.
 Coming up, Lewis County will head out to  square off against Summertown  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Loretto, they will be playing at home against Winston County  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
