Basketball Recap: Quemado Takes a Loss

After soaring to 69 points the game before, Quemado was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They were dealt a 68-22 defeat at the hands of the Maxwell Bears. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Quemado's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Maxwell, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Quemado will host Pine Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maxwell, they will head out on the road to challenge Cliff at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Maxwell knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Cliff likes a good challenge.
