Recap: Dover Eagles vs. Red Lion Lions
Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 9-3 walloping at the hands of the Red Lion Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dover of the 13-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Dover saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Bowlsbey, who went 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of David Crone Jr., who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
On Red Lion's side, Connor Lawrence made a big impact no matter where he played.
