Baseball Recap: Remington Comes Up Short

Remington was the 7-6 winner over Moundridge when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Broncos took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats on Friday.

Remington has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8-1 record this season. As for Moundridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Remington will square off against Marion at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Moundridge, they will take on Little River on Friday.
