Soccer Recap: Mountain Heritage Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mountain Heritage lost against North Buncombe back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars lost 5-1 to the Black Hawks. Mountain Heritage have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Santiago Chavez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Mountain Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Buncombe, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Mountain Heritage will challenge Chase at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Chase's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for North Buncombe, they will square off against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
