Softball Recap: Northtown Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Northtown played against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus on Friday and won via forfeit.

Northtown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Northtown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-7 loss against Maine East on the 19th. As for Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus, they will head out to challenge Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 13.2 runs per game this season.
