 The Hopewell Titans can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Friday. Everything went their way against West Charlotte as Hopewell made off with a  63-41 win. Given Hopewell's advantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings  (they are ranked 62nd, while West Charlotte is ranked 271st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Hopewell's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Quay Watson, who  scored 16 points along with five  assists and four  steals. Watson hasn't dropped below 16 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Derrick Eley, who  scored eight points along with nine  assists and six  rebounds.
 West Charlotte's loss  came despite strong showings from  Brandon Blakeney and  Christian Coleman.  Blakeney  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds, while  Coleman  scored 11 points.
 Hopewell's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 15-4. As for West Charlotte, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost nine of their last ten matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record  this season.
 Hopewell will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Chambers at 7:30  p.m. Averaging 74.37  points so far this season, Chambers' high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Hopewell better be ready for a challenge. As for West Charlotte, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Hough at 7:30  p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for West Charlotte and four for Hough.
