Gulf was led to victory by Josh Murphy, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Monday. Murphy went 9 of 10 on his way to 23 points in addition to seven steals and six assists, good enough to set a new career-high in steals in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games he's played.

Murphy and Gulf will welcome Palm Harbor University at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
