Baseball Recap: Middleton Comes Up Short

Middleton and Brandon squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Middleton had to settle for second. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Tate Hancock was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Middleton is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-19. As for Brandon, their record now sits at 8-17.

Middleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brandon, they will challenge Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
