Football Game Preview: Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Ravens vs. Schalmont Sabres

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Ravens will face off against the Schalmont Sabres at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 41-14 defeat at the hands of Glens Falls. The Ravens were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Despite the loss, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk got top-tier performance from Lee Kittle, who rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Meanwhile, Schalmont waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 13-0 shutout.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2. As for Schalmont, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-2.
