Softball Game Preview: Lower Moreland Lions vs. Cheltenham Panthers

For the second straight game, Lower Moreland will face off against Cheltenham. The Lions will host the Panthers at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lower Moreland is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Cheltenham get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Izzy O'Brien made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. O'Brien was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Lower Moreland got a big performance out of Jordyn MacPhee, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
