Basketball Recap: Litchfield Takes a Loss

Litchfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 30-24 heartbreaker at the hands of the Camden-Frontier Redskins. The Terriers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redskins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Litchfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Camden-Frontier, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Litchfield will be home for the holidays to greet Pansophia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Litchfield is facing Pansophia Academy at the right time seeing as Pansophia Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Camden-Frontier will take on Will Carleton Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Camden-Frontier's defense has only allowed 21.8 points per game this season, so Will Carleton Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
