Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 4-2 to the Carolina Forest Panthers. Hillcrest have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ethan Miklinski and Nick Sialmas scored both of Hillcrest's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Carolina Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Hillcrest will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Easley at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. Hillcrest is facing Easley at the right time seeing as Easley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Carolina Forest, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-4 loss against Socastee on the 18th.
