It was a good run, but Fishers unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marist RedHawks. The game marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Fishers was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Drew Fisher paced Fishers' offense, picking up five kills. Fisher got some help from JT Guler and his 15 assists.

Fishers' defeat dropped their record down to 26-3. As for Marist, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 29-1.

Fishers has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cathedral on the 10th. As for Marist, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Roncalli on the 10th.
