Volleyball Game Preview: Armuchee Indians vs. Gordon Lee Trojans

Armuchee hasn't had much luck against Gordon Lee recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Indians are taking a road trip to square off against the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Armuchee is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Monday, Armuchee earned a 3-1 victory over Dade County.

Armuchee walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-22, 25-10, 20-25, 27-25.

Gordon Lee not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 26, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Chattooga with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Gordon Lee never let Chattooga on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 28-26, 25-11.

Gordon Lee found their leader in sophomore McKinley Richie, who had five digs and four aces.

Gordon Lee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 18 consecutive matchups.

Armuchee's record is now 24-13. As for Gordon Lee, their record now sits at 33-10.
