Softball Recap: Lakeview Takes a Loss

Lakeview lost against Saranac on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats lost 13-2 to the Redhawks. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Katelyn Buchner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games she's played.

Lakeview's loss dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Saranac, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeview will square off against St. Joseph at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saranac, they will challenge Central Montcalm at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
