Volleyball Game Preview: Omaha Central Eagles vs. Mercy Monarchs

The Omaha Central Eagles will square off against the Mercy Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Omaha Central took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Omaha South 3-0. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Mercy made easy work of Omaha South on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Monarchs haven't had any issues with the Packers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Mercy was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9, 25-21.

Mercy's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Omaha Central, their win bumped their record up to 9-14.
