Basketball Recap: Amador Valley Comes Up Short

Amador Valley lost against Monte Vista back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Amador Valley Dons took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monte Vista Mustangs. The match marked the Dons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Amador Valley is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-7. As for Monte Vista, their record now sits at 15-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amador Valley will head out to square off against Dougherty Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dougherty Valley will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Amador Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monte Vista, they will venture away from home to face off against Livermore at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Monte Vista is facing Livermore at the right time seeing as Livermore is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
