Basketball Recap: Winterboro Piles Up the Points Against Alabama School for the Deaf

It's playoff time, and Winterboro had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors 59-31. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Winterboro has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-16 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Alabama School for the Deaf, they dropped their record down to 8-17 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Winterboro will venture away from home to face off against Wadley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wadley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Winterboro likes a good challenge. Alabama School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
