Basketball Recap: Cumberland Christian Home Educators Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cumberland Christian Home Educators, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Madison Christian Academy 63-39 on Thursday. The Hawks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 13th (when they won 81-48).

Joshua Sloan had an outrageously good game as he posted 19 points along with eight steals and six boards. Those eight steals gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caleb Tigue, who scored 12 points and four steals.

Cumberland Christian Home Educators' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cumberland Christian Home Educators will venture away from home to face off against Varsity Opponent at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Madison Christian Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Veritas Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
