Basketball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

Huron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 59-51 to the Airport Jets. The Chiefs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jets earlier this season, when they won 64-46.

Huron now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Airport, their win bumped their record up to 4-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huron will welcome Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Huron is facing Milan at the right time seeing as Milan is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Airport, they will square off against Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverview will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Airport surely won't give up without a fight.
