Soccer Recap: North Murray Takes a Loss

North Murray was the 3-0 winner over Sonoraville when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. North Murray lost 9-1 to Sonoraville on Friday. While losing is never fun, North Murray can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Sonoraville are ranked 104th).

North Murray has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. Sonoraville pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, North Murray will welcome North Cobb Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Murray is facing North Cobb Christian at the right time seeing as North Cobb Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sonoraville, they will take on Murray County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
