O'Connor is a perfect 10-0 against Mountain Ridge since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will square off against the Mountain Lions at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Ridge took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on O'Connor, who comes in off a win.

O'Connor is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Pinnacle, who was ranked 24th at the time (O'Connor was ranked sixth). The Eagles put the hurt on the Pioneers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday.

O'Connor was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Mountain Ridge came up short against Pinnacle on Monday, falling 3-0. The Mountain Lions haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

O'Connor has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. As for Mountain Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.

O'Connor took their win against Mountain Ridge in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
