Baseball Recap: Kellis Takes a Loss

Kellis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Willow Canyon Wildcats, falling 17-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-3 last Tuesday.

Kellis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Giddens, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Kellis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Willow Canyon, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Kellis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-0 loss against Youngker on the 14th. As for Willow Canyon, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Desert Mountain on the 10th.
