Basketball Recap: Three Straight Road Victories for Pine Ridge

Pine Ridge lost to Little Wound back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Pine Ridge Thorpes came out on top against the Little Wound Mustangs by a score of 61-49. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thorpes.

Pine Ridge pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Little Wound, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Pine Ridge will square off against Lakota Tech at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lakota Tech is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.5 points per game this season. As for Little Wound, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lower Brule at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
