On Wednesday, the Lake Mary Prep Griffins beat the Innovation Bulls 59-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Griffins.

Despite the loss, Innovation saw an underclassman step up: freshman Carlos Naranjo almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Naranjo a new career-high. Kaleb Bielski was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Lake Mary Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Innovation, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Lake Mary Prep has already played their next game, a 62-58 victory against Montverde Academy Gold on the 23rd. As for Innovation, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 67-32 defeat against Winter Park on the 24th.
