After flying high against Elyria last Thursday, Avon Lake came back down to earth. The Shoremen fell 14-11 to the St. Joseph Academy Jaguars on Friday. Carmen McMinn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was Sammy Cracas, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5.
