Baseball Game Preview: St. Patrick Saints vs. Robertson County Black Devils

The St. Patrick Saints will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Robertson County Black Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. Patrick is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 7-0 to Paris on April 7th. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Robertson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They came up short against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, falling 20-10.

Kyle Burns made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Brown, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
