Soccer Recap: Carlynton Comes Up Short

Carlynton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Aquinas Academy Crusaders, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Carlynton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 538th, while Aquinas Academy are ranked 180th).

Carlynton's loss dropped their record down to 0-11-2. As for Aquinas Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Carlynton will challenge Bishop Canevin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aquinas Academy, they will face off against Brentwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aquinas Academy will need to watch out since Brentwood have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
