Guntersville extends home winning streak to four

Recap: Guntersville Wildcats vs. Gadsden City Titans
The Guntersville Wildcats won the last time they faced the Gadsden City Titans, and things went their way on Thursday too. Guntersville walked away with a 40-33 win over Gadsden City. The win made it back-to-back wins for Guntersville.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Karleigh Sheffield, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Whiteside, who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Guntersville's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Gadsden City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Guntersville will head out on the road to face off against Fairview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gadsden City, they will be playing at home against Sylacauga at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
