There's no place like home for Hermantown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Cloquet Lumberjacks 8-7 on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Lumberjacks: they've now won four in a row.

Jax Johnson looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, River Freeman was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since May 6th. Another player making a difference was Charlie Marchand, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Hermantown's record is now 9-12-1. As for Cloquet, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.
