East Valley is 0-10 against Northridge Academy since April of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. East Valley will face off against Northridge Academy at 2:30 p.m. East Valley knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Northridge Academy likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, East Valley made easy work of Fulton and carried off a 20-10 victory. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly ten runs.

Meanwhile, Northridge Academy suffered their closest defeat since March 20, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of Sherman Oaks CES by a score of 4-2. The Pumas' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Alondra Laguna put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
