Softball Recap: South Rowan Raiders vs. Concord Spiders

After flying high against Robinson last Friday, South Rowan came back down to earth. The South Rowan Raiders fell just short of the Concord Spiders by a score of 10-9 on Tuesday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Danica Krieg made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Cressley Patterson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
