Basketball Recap: Mineral County Serpents vs. Sage Ridge Scorpions
After flying high against Coleville last Tuesday, Mineral County came back down to earth. The Mineral County Serpents took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sage Ridge Scorpions on Wednesday. The Serpents were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Scorpions earlier this season, when they won 72-61.

Despite the defeat, Mineral County had strong showings from Jaeden Majano, who posted 18 points, and Robert Wilson, who earned 18 points. Majano is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Peyton Baldry was another key player, putting up eight points.
