Volleyball Recap: Newton Takes a Loss

Newton lost against Clarkston back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams fell 2-0 to the Angoras. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Rams haven't been shut out since back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18.

Newton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Clarkston, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Clarkston has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Chamblee on the 29th. Hopefully Newton paid attention to the Angoras' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Angoras at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
