Volleyball Game Preview: Western Alamance Warriors vs. Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves + How To Watch

Western Alamance is 1-7 against Cedar Ridge since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Warriors will head out to square off against the Fighting Red Wolves at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Western Alamance is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over South Brunswick.

Western Alamance never let South Brunswick on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge entered their tilt with South Granville on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Vikings 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-8.

Western Alamance's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Cedar Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 23-1.

Western Alamance might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Cedar Ridge in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
