Volleyball Recap: Jserra Catholic Falls Despite Big Games from Katherine Nowak and Madison Goodrich + How To Watch

JSerra Catholic and Coronado squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but JSerra Catholic had to settle for second. They came up short against the Islanders, falling 3-0. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Islanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-18.

JSerra Catholic's loss came despite strong showings from Madison Goodrich and Katherine Nowak. Goodrich had 15 digs and two aces, while Nowak had 13 digs and five kills. Nowak is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last five games she's played.

JSerra Catholic dropped their record down to 20-16 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Coronado, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 34-8 record this season.

JSerra Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coronado, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Santa Margarita on the 13th.
